Last night Detroit Pistons Power-Forward Blake Griffin had a career best game, as he was able to propel the Pistons to a 133-132 victory over the 76ers. The 6’10” superstar put up 50 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. His most important play of the game came with seconds remaining in overtime, with his team trailing by 2 points. Griffin caught the pass, drove to the hoop, and went up for the layup. The shot went in and on top of that he was fouled and got to shoot a free throw. With the game tied, Griffin came through clutch and made the free throw to give his team the lead, and ultimately the win. As the NBA season starts to get going, Griffin looks to keep up his astonishing performance on the court, and hopefully have a breakout season and put his team in the playoffs to compete for a championship. Blake is starting to prove to the basketball world that he is much more than just a dunker, and can do it all for his team. The Pistons are currently 3-0, and if they are able to maintain their terrific play they could be a team to look out for this year, especially if Griffin is playing to his full potential and having big games like this.
