- Season 2, Episode 10: “Christmas Party”
Highlight: Jim’s gift to Pam, a teapot filled with some mementos and a personal letter from him to her.
“Christmas Party” was the first ever ‘The Office’ Christmas episode. Michael suggests a poorly planned out game called ‘Yankee Swap.’ He gets Ryan an iPod, despite the limit of twenty dollars on the gift. The fighting brings morale to an all time low. Everyone fights over all of the gifts until the game has to end.
- Season 8, Episode 10: “Christmas Wishes”
Highlight: Erin gets too drunk and exclaims to Andy her wish is that Andy’s new girlfriend, Jessica, was dead.
Andy decides this year for Christmas, he would complete a Christmas wish from everyone in the office. Andy tells Jim and Dwight that if they keep pulling pranks, whoever does one will lose their Christmas bonus, and the victim will get the whole thing. Andy later calls the whole thing off and only tells Jim, but then Jim neglects to tell Dwight, so Dwight keeps pulling pranks on himself, trying to get Jim’s bonus.

Highlight: Pam and Karen plot together against Angela.
Carol breaks up with Michael in the beginning of the episode, and Andy takes Michael out to attempt to cheer him up. Dwight and Jim come along to Benihanna and Dwight tries to impress the chef with his knowledge of Japanese knives. Michael ends up asking out the waitress to the party, she says yes and they go. Angela’s Christmas party is extremely pristine and classy but everyone in the office just wants to have fun. Karen and Pam plan an opposing party, with margaritas and a karaoke machine. Angela tries to sabotage the party and eventually they end up merging the party. Oscar enters the office with his partner Gil while Angela is singing “The Little Drummer Boy,” she pauses for a moment, says, “Too soon” and leaves. Michael’s date leaves the party because she says it sucks. Michael makes a phone call to someone who is “unknown” at the time, and it ends up being Jan, his ex.
- Season 6, Episode 13: “Secret Santa”
Episode Highlight: Michael dressed up as Jesus Christ.
Phyllis was dressed as Michael’s favorite gig of the holidays: Santa Claus. Everyone loves Phyllis as Santa Claus, but Michael still wants to take over, so he decides to dress up as Jesus. After everyone tells Michael that what he’s doing is wrong, Michael gets so mad that he calls David Wallace and Wallace says someone bought the company so presumably everyone is going to lose their job.

Episode Highlight: Dwight petrifies Jim with snowmen.
Holly Flax comes back after Toby announces he is temporarily leaving to complete jury duty. Michael trashes the entire planned Christmas party and demands a better, more expensive one. He gave the party planning committee his own money and tells them to get dancers, ice sculptures, etc. Holly puts a toy Woody on her desk, from her boyfriend at the Nashua branch. Michael decides to ruin the toy, and Holly has a breakdown over it. Darryl brings his daughter Jada to work with him, Pam and Andy try to make the office fun, but Andy ends up ruining everything. Pam makes Jim a hand-drawn comic book. Jim and Dwight arrange a snowball fight, and Dwight hides in a snowman to surprise Jim. Jim is obviously afraid and tries to surrender but Dwight refuses. Throughout the day Dwight torments Jim and at the end of the day, Jim is afraid to leave, as there are ten or more snowmen in the parking lot. Jim attacks all of them, trying to find Dwight. The camera pans to Dwight, who says the most powerful snowball in a snowball fight is fear.
- Season 9, Episode 9: “Dwight Christmas”
Episode Highlight: Dwight repeatedly hits Jim with the switch so much that Jim is terrified.
The office realizes they haven’t planned a Christmas party and today is the day. Dwight gets everyone to celebrate his traditional Schrute Pennsylvania Dutch Christmas. He dresses up as the traditional Christmas character Belsnickel, cooks German food, and plays a game like “Naughty or Nice.” Everyone hates the games and traditions except Jim and Pam, who are amused by Dwight’s antics. When Jim announces it’s time to leave, Dwight proceeds to hit him with a switch. Dwight gets upset that Jim is leaving his party early and proceeds to cancel everything. The office tries to celebrate a ‘normal’ Christmas and Jim comes back, which he claims is because he found an early bus, but there is an obvious friendship budding between Dwight and Jim. They continue on with the festivities and celebrate a Dwight Christmas.
- Season 5, Episode 11: “Moroccan Christmas”
Episode Highlight: Michael attempting to drag Meridith into rehab.
Dwight has the idea to buy the bulk of the hottest toys and then raise the price ridiculously high, a doll named “Princess Unicorn””Fa-la-la-la-la la-la cha-ching.” Angela hates the Moroccan christmas, which was planned by Phyllis, her first Christmas party as head of the Party Planning Committee. Meridith takes advantage of the alcohol and gets wasted. The office plans an intervention and Michael attempts to involuntarily take Meredith to rehab. Toby and Darly share an awkward moment over the toy purchased from Dwight. Phyllis threatens Angela when Angela wont do what she asks. Angela says she won’t, but Phyllis tells everyone her secret. Andy doesn’t hear, as he is in the annex.
