Stuck at Home? Escape to Animal Crossing: New Horizons!
May 1, 2020
Right now, most people want to not be at home, but we have to be. There is a worldwide epidemic, and the more we can do to contain it, the better. How great would an island getaway sound right about now? Well, Nintendo has given us the option! In the middle of this pandemic, Nintendo has released a new game called Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Animal Crossing is a more relaxed game that does not have too much of a story; it’s a game that you can take at your own pace. While there is no real storyline to the game, there is still plenty to do. What keeps you on track and motivated to play the game are goals. There are many goals set that encourage progress in the game by offering a reward incentive.
The main goal of Animal Crossing is to expand your house to its biggest possibility. You get a big cool house that you are free to design and decorate however you want. The downside to this is that you now owe a raccoon named Tom Nook about five million bells (bells are the in-game currency). Another goal of Animal Crossing is to complete the “critterpedia.” This can lead to better in-game tools and bragging rights.
Things are stressful right now. The world is going through a lot. Through it all, relaxation and time to de-stress is needed. Escaping to an Animal Crossing island may be just what you need to get you out of your head.
