In the MLB, Negro leagues are now being added to official records, now being named as Major League Baseball. The question though is that, will it change what happened to black players? In the NFL St. Louis Blues’ Alexander Steen retires due to a back injury, ending his 15-year career. He has scored 245 goals, and 377 assists, in 1,018 career NHL games. In the NBA, Kevin Porter Jr. was arrested in November and charged with improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, after he flipped his Mercedes SUV on an interstate just southwest of Cleveland. Also in the NBA, Charlotte Hornets’ Gordon Hayward fractured his finger during their loss to the Toronto Raptors on Monday.
