Liverpool Injuries

Liverpool has had a lot of injuries to its players this season during the winter transfer window. Renato Sanches has been one of the big names linked to the club. Renato Sanches has brought his game up to the next level this year. He once had a promising future after an amazing Euro 2016, but failed spells at Bayern Munich and Swansea saw his career going in a downhill spiral. LOSC Lille saw the opportunity to get a quality young star with still some upside. They signed him for 20 million Euros and he has not disappointed. He has been an excellent holding midfielder for Lille and this has brought back the hype for him. Liverpool has a lot of key players injured right now and needs to bring in one or two players to fill the gaps left. Fabinho and Jordan Henderson who normally play in the midfield, have had to play at center-back because of the injuries to Virgil Van Dijk, Joel Matip, and Joe Gomez. Reneto Sanches can slot right into the defensive midfield spot and allow Thiago to push up the field more. Overall, if Liverpool doesn’t pay a big fee for Renato Sanches then this will be an amazing deal. However, if they send more than 40 Million Euros for him, this might not be a great decision because when everybody is healthy and ready to play, I find it very difficult for Renato Sanches to receive consistent game time.
