This quote stands as a reminder of the impact we can make on the world if we live each day with purpose and intention. Any person might be counting down days till sometime in the future when they hope they will be happy or fulfilled. Maybe after they get a promotion or meet their other halves or get in better shape, but the tricky thing about the future is that it will never arrive unless we work for it. The present moment is all we ever truly have. So we owe it to ourselves to seek peace and joy in the now. Making the days count can look different for various people, it might mean reaching out for a loved one, taking some time to work on a new skill, or treating yourself to a moment of relaxation.
