To Dover

Tatiana Velasquez, Staff Writer

The courage to love is a movement against fear. A quiet retribution towards those who unfold

under its demand and are brave enough to hold ground during a sorrow season.

In itself it’s both death and liberation, hope and despair, predator and prey.

To love and be loved is rigorous, but what is worse, far worse. Is lethal even, is becoming devoured by indifference.

You see, I’m learning that the power of love exists in our willingness to survive the hunger for loneliness.
