Week 2 Game Recap: Titans vs Bills

Alex Petrosini, Staff Writer

Week 2 is upon us and we have the Tennessee Titans going up against the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football.  The Titans are coming off a week one loss to the Giants where kicker Randy Bullock missed the game-winning 47-yard field goal.  Meanwhile, on the opposite end of the spectrum, the Bills beat the defending Super Bowl champions, the Los Angeles Rams, 31-10 in a dominating second-half performance led by an amazing passing attack on offense and an incredible performance by the defense to allow zero points in the second half.

To kickoff the game the Bills get the ball.  This would start their total domination. Both teams scored on the first drive of the game, but after that the Bills defense played lights out.  Their defense forced 4 turnovers, a pick six, and held Derrick Henry to just 25 yards.  On the opposite side of the ball for the Bills the chemistry between Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs shined.  They connected for 12 receptions, 148 yards, and 3 touchdowns.   Josh Allen led the Bills offense to 41 points with a lethal passing attack, throwing for 317 yards, 4 touchdowns, and 26 completions on 38 attempts.  For the second week in a row the Bills proved they are one of the best teams in the league, if not the best, and have scored 72 points in the first two weeks alone.  Next week the Titans look to turn their season around against the 0-2 Raiders who, like the Titans, are looking to turn their season around.  Meanwhile the Bills will go against their division rivals, the 2-0 Dolphins in what is sure to be a great game.

Final score:

Bills 41

Titans 7
