Week 3 Recap: Packers vs Buccaneers
September 27, 2022
Week 3 is here and the Green Bay Packers are up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This 2020 NFC championship rematch is slated to be a good one. With two of the greatest quarterbacks of all time at the helm of both teams, this game is sure to be a thriller.
Mason Crosby and the Packers kick it off and the game has begun. Both teams scored on their first possession and were off to a quick start. After the Packers force a 3 and out on their second drive on defense, they march down the field and score another touchdown. The Buccaneers have trouble producing on offense and punt the ball again. The Packers then march down the field and look to break the game wide open. But then, disaster strikes as Packers running back Aaron Jones fumbles at the one and the Buccaneers recover. The Buccaneers can’t score from this opportunity and this leads to the end of the first half. The 2nd half begins and both teams are stagnant on offense. The Buccaneers tack on a field goal in the 2nd half and cut it to a one-score game. Then with 3:04 left on the clock, TB12 pulls off a classic drive, marching down the field to make it a two point game. The Buccaneers go for 2 to win the game. Incomplete. The Packers win!
Final score:
Packers 14
Buccaneers 12
