Steve yells, “I didn’t mean to kill her” in court yesterday. What does that even mean if I’m AVA and I’m dead and you Steve was the one who I seen. 

You Steve. You stabbed me in my stomach. I wish I could say that loud, like yell it. My once of a body was loud. My voice, I miss. I don’t even know how long it’s been since. Steve, why? I wish I could say. 

Steve, do you hear me? Yes Steve, it’s Ava. The one you killed on October 10, 2016. I remember that night like no other. It was raining hard. I wish you would say. Tell them Steve, tell them how you came to my car Steve. Tell them, how you kept me in that basement for two consecutive years. 

Steve, do you know how long that is? One after the other Steve. You meant to kill me Steve, and you did Steve. I still don’t know why you killed me Steve. I didn’t know you before the night you came to my car. 

So why did you come to my car that night? I want answers now. Steve, so you will tell these people what you did to me and why you picked me to terrorize. Not for their peace of mind but for mine. You killed me, so I, AVA deserve answers. NOW, Steve. So tell them why you killed me and why you moved my body across state lines if you didn’t mean to kill me, Steve. You meant to kill me. Steve I didn’t even know your name till after you killed me so why did you kill me?
