Girl Up Club Features the Women of Farmingdale

The FHS Girl Up Club honors the women of Farmingdale for a Women’s History Month project.
Girl Up is a club at Farmingdale High School focused on empowering women and educating students about feminism.
March was Women’s History Month, so Girl Up created a project that features the women of Farmingdale. Members of the club interviewed many different women in the Farmingdale community and asked them about their unique experiences. “Women in our community will share their unique stories,” Mrs. Kathleen Danyko, advisor for the Girl Up Club, says.
The finished product, a video on Canva, includes women throughout our district with a variety of different perspectives and life experiences. The “Women of Farmingdale” screening took place the week of April 17th in the Lecture Hall.
